Its members usually refer to it as Cosa Nostra (Italian for “our thing”). The Mussolini regime took a heavy toll on the “Cosa Nostra”; many of the best Mafia members had been converted to fascism. And the Sicilian mafia, the Cosa Nostra, seems to have already gained a foothold in the relatively young industry. I've been looking for a while for a decent history, and this work definitely fits the bill.
